Privacy Policy

GetScamSavvy.com
Effective Date: February 18, 2026

Tripraxis LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates GetScamSavvy.com (the "Site") and the scam simulation service described herein (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our Service. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to it.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are

Tripraxis LLC is a limited liability company registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our Service helps protect individuals — particularly older adults — from phishing and smishing scams by delivering realistic, simulated scam attempts and redirecting anyone who engages with them to educational content about recognizing and avoiding similar threats.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Primary Account Holder

When you create an account, we collect:

2.2 Enrolled Partner

You may enroll a partner — typically a parent or family member — to participate in the scam simulation. Before we add any partner to the Service, we collect:

We then send the partner a confirmation request. Their enrollment is not activated until they affirmatively consent. We do not send simulation content to any partner who has not completed this verification step.

2.3 Usage and Technical Data

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Site, including:

We collect this data using Google Analytics. Please see Section 5 for details on third-party services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

3.1 Simulation Data

Simulation emails and texts are sent only during the term of an active enrollment. When an enrollment ends or is canceled, simulation delivery to that partner stops. We retain interaction records (e.g., whether a link was clicked) to provide reporting to the account holder and to improve our simulation content.

4. Marketing Communications

4.1 Email Marketing

With your consent, we may send you promotional emails about the Service, scam-awareness tips, and related offerings. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by contacting us at contact@getscamsavvy.com. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional messages related to your account.

4.2 SMS/Text Message Marketing

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive promotional text messages from GetScamSavvy.com. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any marketing text message or by contacting us at contact@getscamsavvy.com.

Important: Simulation texts sent to enrolled partners as part of the Service are not marketing messages. They are part of the educational service the account holder has enrolled the partner in, subject to the partner's prior consent.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Stripe (Payment Processing)

We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe collects and processes your payment card information directly. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

5.2 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the Site. Google Analytics collects data such as pages viewed, time on site, and referral sources using cookies. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify individual users. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5.3 Email and SMS Platforms

We use third-party email and SMS delivery platforms to send simulation content and marketing messages. These platforms process email addresses and phone numbers on our behalf as data processors. We select vendors that comply with applicable privacy laws and maintain appropriate data security standards. We will update this policy when we finalize our platform selections.

6. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Enrolled partner data (email address and phone number) is retained only for the duration of the active enrollment, plus a reasonable period for record-keeping, and is deleted upon account deletion request.

8. Your Privacy Rights

8.1 All Users

Regardless of where you reside, you have the right to:

To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@getscamsavvy.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8.2 California Residents — CCPA/CPRA Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

To submit a CCPA/CPRA request, contact us at contact@getscamsavvy.com. We will verify your identity before processing any request. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf.

California residents may also contact us to request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures, but you have the right to ask.

9. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and secure payment processing through Stripe.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is designed for adults (ages 18 and older) and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@getscamsavvy.com.

11. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Site and collect analytics data via Google Analytics. Cookies are small data files stored on your browser. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Disabling cookies may affect certain Site functionality.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date and notify you by email if the changes significantly affect your rights. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
